Renewal of Wedding Vows on their 10th Anniversay (12/9/99)
Vernon's children: Vern Jr. & Kimberly Ann; Vernon, Patricia, Gregory & Brandon

Patrica was the first born of Odie & John Feltwater.  She started out the first 6 months of her life living with grandparents [Annie & John] in their Jersey City apartment.  Her mother - [being a country girl from Alabama] - dreamed of a home in the country.  the closest they came to the country was Moonachie, N.J.  Patricia lived there with mom, dad and brother, John, until she married her sons' dad, Armand, in 1973.  In January, 1978, they relocated to Southern California so Armand could pursue a career with the Los Angeles Police Department.  They traveled cross country with a Siberian Husky and their two month baby boy, Greg.  It was so difficult for her to leave her family, but they began their new life.  In February 1978, Pat took a job with the California Institute of Technology as a Legal Secretary.  In 1980, Brandon was born!   He is the only native Californian, with the exception of Pat's extended family when she married Vern!  In 1988, she and Armand divorced.  While settling into the life of a single parent and while her sons played Little League baseball, she met Vern [who was the coach of his son's team].  They married in December 1989.  Vern has three children: Kimberly [32] married to Ken, daughter, Brianna [4 years old] and Tyler Martin [born June 8, 2001]; Karen [29 yrs old] divorced and three children: Marcus [11 yrs ], Kaisa [Swedish for Karen] [8 yrs] and Ronnie [3 yrs.];  And Vern Jr. [23 yrs].   Pat is Grandma and Vern is Papa!  Pat & Vern love & enjoy the kids so very much!

In 1991, Pat was promoted to Legal Assistant.  She has been with the Institute since 1978.

Her youngest son, Brandon, relocated to Burlington, Vermont,  but has recently decided that winters on the East Coast are TOO long.   He is presently working with US Airways and will be putting in for a transfer back to Southern California.  Mom is so happy!

Greg married a dear sweet lady, Molly, on May 5, 2001.  The family, however, suffered a great loss when Molly's mom, Jan, lost her battle to Melanoma cancer on Easter Sunday, April 17th.  Molly is an Administrative Assistant with Runners World magazine, but would like to further her education in Social Services - perhaps dealing with children!  She presently has a Bachelors Degree.  Greg is presently with a radio station in Los Angeles.  He would like to pursue becoming a Disc Jockey or a position in public relations.

Pat now awaits the arrival of more precious grandchildren and is looking forward to retirement and a comfortable porch swing - large enough for all the grandchildren.
